I'm in DC to experience and photograph the inauguration of Barack Obama. Today was Martin Luther King Jr. day; I won't bother you with poetic musings of the significance of these events, I'm certain you have heard it all already. Instead I offer a brief portrait of The Capital as it prepares and celebrates.

Estoy en DC por la experiencia y tomar fotos de la inaguración de Barack Obama. Hoy era el día de Martin Luther king Jr: no te molesto con divigaciones poéticas sobre la signífica de estes eventos, estoy seguro que ya lo has oido. Barack Obama was elected 44th president of the United States last night. Everybody spilled out of the bars on my block and literally took over the street, forcing the police to shut it down. Here are a few shots of the celebration.
