I'm currently in Vermont visiting some family, and today we took a brief trip to the Northeast Kingdom, a sparsely populated portion of the state near the Canadian border. Here are a few shots from the trip. Thanks!

My favorites of the 2009 // Mis favoritos del 2009

I wanted to share a few of my personal favorites pictures from the year. Some of them are very recent, others not so much, but they all give me a little pleasure even though they may not be my 'best' of the year. They are pictures for me.

Fall in Water World and other places / Otoño en el mundo de agua y otros lugares

Unfortunately I've been very busy with things beside making pictures the past month or so, hence haven't been posting often enough.

Here are a few images from select rovings around California water issues this Fall:

San Francisco's Fisherman's wharf, where the crab season is keeping this normally salmon-centric fleet afloat.
Flooded rice fields under power lines await Spring planting in Sutter County, California.
Sportfisherman at Knights Landing near Sacramento take advantage of a very short season.
...And pot plants in a grower's bathroom, San Francisco.

Desgraciadamente, he sido bien ocupado por cosas ademas de hacer fotos el mes pasado, entonces no ponía bastante.

Aqui son unos imágenes selectados de mis viajes alredador de agua en California este Otoño:

Pescadores profesionales de Fishermans Wharf, San Francisco, donde lo congrejo está ayudando mantenarse a flote esta flota normalmente centrada en el Salmón.
Inundado de agua, parceles de arroz esperan la temprada de sombrar en la primavera a bajo de las lineas de enérgia.
Pescadores deportivos aprovechan de la temprada corta de Salmón en Knights Landing, cerca de Sacramento.
...Y mota en un baño, San Francisco.

Signs of drought / Los signos de la sequía

Spent Sunday evening / Monday morning at a reservoir in Northern California heavily affected by the drought.

Gasté el tarde de domingo y la madrugada de lunes en un embalse en el norte de California, muy affectad de la sequía en California.

Sikh Parade / Desfile Sikh

Last weekend was the Sikh parade in nearby Yuba City. It was like a trip to Jalandhar!
